DESCRIPTION
Trim Black is an acrylic coating formulated to restore the original finish to automotive trim components. It is suggested to be used on plastic, steel, aluminum, chrome or stainless steel. Trim Black provides excellent grip and durability. It also matches the OEM appearance, retains all of its flexibility, and delivers the professional results you expect.

INSTRUCTIONS
FOR METAL, ALUMINUM, STEEL, STAINLESS STEEL AND CHROME:
- Clean the surface with SEM Solve or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner.
- Sand the surface with 400 grit sandpaper.
- Blow or wipe off dust and clean again with SEM Solve or XXX Universall Surface Cleaner
PLASTIC:
- Clean with SEM soap and a gray scouring pad.
- Rinse with water and dry.
- Clean with a preparation for plastic and leather. If the contamination persists, water will bead on the surface. In this case, repeat the previous steps until the bulging no longer occurs.
- To promote adhesion on ABS, PVC and other similar plastics, apply a moderately wet coat of Sand Free.
Apply color while Sand Free is still wet. As the Sand Free evaporates, the color soaks into the surface creating an excellent bond. To promote adhesion on TPO, EPDM, PP and other similar thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
Note: If the type of plastic is unknown, place a small amount of Sand Free on the back of the plastic and rub in with your gloved finger. If the plastic smudges and melts, use Sand Free as an adhesion promoter. If Sand Free has no effect on plastic, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter.
